Gas fire extinguisher with clean extinguishing agent
Gas fire extinguishers are filled with special, clean extinguishing agent - FE-36 from the American company, Du Pont and are characterised by an above-average extinguishing ability. The extinguishing medium mentioned is the official replacement for prohibited types of Halon, which may no longer be used due to ecological reasons.
This clean extinguishing agent is intended for extinguishing class A, B and C fires and also equipment powered by electricity up to 110 kV subject to a minimum safe distance of 1 metre being adhered to.
FE-36 extinguishing agent is no only electrically non-conducting, but also non-toxic, ecologically friendly and does not cause corrosion. With a view to the fact that it evaporates after the blaze has been extinguished, it is especially suitable for extinguishing fires on electronic equipment, computing technology, recording technology, data carriers, telephone exchanges, control centres, electric motors, archives, museums and such like.
